TEN

I'm 34. Stephen and I started dating when we were 17. I've known him half my life now. Today we celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary! I wanted to do something very special for him, so where did I turn to...Pinterest. I got this balloon idea from here and here. The white balloons are for the 7 years we dated. And the silver balloons are for the 10 years we've been married. 

I taped each of the photos/memories below on the balloons. 

On the 10th wedding anniversary, the traditional gift to give is tin or aluminum. So again I turned to Pinterest and got the idea here to make an art wall hanging with the lyrics to our wedding song. And fortunately for me, I work at one of the coolest art companies around and was able to print it on ALUMINUM. :) We both loved the song, "Wonderful Tonight" by Eric Clapton. Whenever Stephen would sing it to me he would change one lyric. Can you guess which one? I'll give you a hint, I'm not blonde. :) Anyhow, I fondly remember dancing with him to this song at our reception...the ceiling/roof opened up, surprised all of our guests, and you could see the starry night sky above us. It was perfect.
