Elise & Eliana

My coworker/friend named Elise (I love her name, that's Madeline's middle name and was my girl name choice) is expecting a baby girl due next month. She is going to name her baby Eliana, also so pretty. Her baby shower was today.

For her gift I handmade some burp cloths, customized a onsie and put together a cap with a flower clip. Click here to read more info on how I made this project.

The shower was at a beautiful ranch home out in Manor, Texas. Elise's sister and sister in-law's did a beautiful job. Here's her cute diaper cake and shower cake which match the adorable invites.

Here's the pretty mama to be. Elise and I have a lot in common, we share our Catholic faith. She's started blogging about her pregnancy journey here, and she also started a Catholic blog here.

What a cute idea to do at a baby shower, have the guests all write sayings on disposable newborn diapers. It will put a smile on the faces of the very tired new parents of a newborn when they do diaper changes.

Here are all the wonderful ladies I work with at Elise's shower today.

Great job on all of the sewing stuff! Everything looks so cute. What a good idea for the shower to write on diapers.

What special burp cloths! I do love that ideal also about the message on the dipes. They should sign 500 of them, so you get a special one for a loong time...!

If you are willing to teach me a little sewing I would LOVE it...I can't seem to get the tension right.
