Small Successes Thursday

FaithButton
It’s important for moms to recognize that all the small successes in our days can add up to one big triumph. So on Thursday of each week, we do exactly that. To participate, just write up a list of 3 of your recent Small Successes and post it on your blog.

Haven't done well keeping up with my blogging this week, sorry I missed my Monday Movie Review. And now I think I'm coming down with a head cold. But still trying to make the best of our week!

1. We had our first gorgeous day of the year reaching the 80's! So I took some time to play outside with the kids. Had them get into their suits so they could run through the sprinklers. Our neighbor came over with her son, Aaron (James' age) and her twin 6 week old babies, Eric and Grant. It was nice chatting with a neighbor. I even got her son Eric to give me a huge dimple grin (his first smile ever!).

James soaking up the sun and getting his toes wet.

Madeline sporting her new swimsuit from Target. Reminded me of an Op suit I had as a girl with cut outs on the sides.

2. Made a delish Asian dinner the other night, Teriyaki Beef stir fry with some handmade Local Kine Wontons....so yummy! Stephen loved dinner.

3. Defended my Faith by helping clear up any misunderstandings of my Catholic Faith on a blog who was uplifting Martin Luther. Prayed for Christian Unity.

Clever change to your title!

Oh how fun to hold some little 6 week old twinners! I see little babies and think, goodness Ty was NEVER that small, but really he was and I just dont remember. How precious the FIRST smile :)

Sooo I think you need to send me the recipe to that Teryaki Beef stir fry! It sounds really YUMMY and I am SURE Matt would LOVE it. I would make the wontons but neither of us are crab lovers, do you think any meat could substitute? Chicken or pork maybe?

Way to go helping to clear up misunderstandings, seems like I have the chance to do that quite often with my religion as well. If I ever have questions about the Catholic faith I ask you first! I admire how much you know and like to learn more about your religion. Seems like that is something that is going out of style and it is sad to see.

What a fabulous list, and good for you for having a kind discussion over beliefs. That is hard to do, but brings grace and fruit to both sides!

Much love!
