Today Madeline's dance school performed at the 12th Annual Buda Wiener Dog Races in Buda TX (next town over about 10 minutes away). They are preparing for their annual big recital set for May 30th, so this is good practice for them to perform on stage in front of a crowd. I think she's improved since last year at this time when they performed at a different festival.

She did a very good job! :)
Afterwards we went to check out the wiener dog races. We should've brought Penny Lane, because there were so many people with dogs there, and not just Dachshunds but other dog breeds too. I mean Penny Lane is part hound. :) Next year we'll have to bring her.
The races were hilarious!
And of course the wiener mobile was there too! :)

Wow, your family has soooo much fun! Love these photos! Madeline has talent! Not afraid to be on stage either! She's so fantastic & adorable! The best of both worlds! lol.
I just wanted to say really quick... that you look just liked your Oma, Ernestine! WOWZERS! No joke! She's like your twin! That's an awesome picture you have of her on the left column there! It's like from an old Marilyn Monroe type movie.
It reminds me, I used to know this kid who thought that in the olden days real-life was really in black & white. haha. silly rabbit. I guess cause all he saw from old pictures & movies was black & white. Kids are so imaginative!

Oh gotta love Texas, lets have weiner dog races! haha who woul dhave thought of that... Madeline did wonderful in her practice performance! I love to watch the littl eones the most on stage and I must say her tu-tu for the ballet performace was the best one for sure.
