Mani anyone?

If you follow my blog then you probably remember that we celebrated Madeline's actual birthday 2 days before Christmas at the Viking game. Although she loves the Vikings, she still asked me if we could have a birthday party at home that she could invite her friends to. So I planned a special gathering for my special gal.

I thought it would be fun to give the girls a real nail salon experience.

Before my hubby and sweet son left the house (this wasn't their kind of party ;) ) he thought to take pics of the "Spence Ohana Nail Salon".
I made some of Madeline's favorite snacks and foods: strawberries, apples & caramel dip, cookies, crackers & cheese, popcorn & chili dogs.

My neighborhood has a community Facebook group page. So I asked if any neighbors had some polishes they could donate. Several ladies did, look at all the colors the girls had to choose from! One lady was a former manicurist and lent us her fan & other salon items. So nice.
The girls enjoyed dipping their hands in Orbeez
and massaging one another's hands & arms with lotions.

Can you guess which color was most popular?
HOT PINK :)
We had a variety of ice cream (Madeline doesn't like cake too much) and sang Happy Birthday to Madeline, as well as to her friends Mia & Cheyenne as they are celebrating birthdays this week too. It was a fun, girly time!

Wow! That looks like fun! I bet Madeline and the girls loved it. I'll have to remember that kind of party when my ladies are a bit older :)
