I'm so proud of James. Until today anytime we would go swimming he would hold on to me for dear life when in the big pool. Even though he would always have a life vest or a floatee, he just didn't trust that he could float and has been too scared to let go. Well today he finally did it! And he trusted he would be okay and loved it! He was so proud of himself and kept saying, "I'm floating all by myself, look at me!". It was sort of a relief for me, and gives me a little more freedom to relax while in the pool. Before I knew it the kids and I had spent a few hours at the pool and James swam all over the big pool. It was a fun evening.

Here's a short video clip of Jimmy-James.
I have a feeling we'll be doing a lot of swimming this summer.
As soon as we walked in to the pool area, we hear, "Madeline! It's Madeline!". One of Madeline's classmates, Isaiah, was there with his dad. So Isaiah swam and played with Madeline and James for awhile. He was a funny kid. After we left the pool Madeline said to me, "Mama, Isaiah's Daddy was really tall - he must eat a lot of healthy foods!".
