Small Successes Thursday

FaithButton
It's important for moms to recognize that all the small successes in our days can add up to one big triumph. So on Thursday of each week, we do exactly that. To participate, just write up a list of 3 of your recent Small Successes and post it on your blog.

1. I don't think I mention enough on this blog how God blessed me with the hottest, most thoughtful and loving husband on Earth! On Sunday he stayed home with the kids so I could go shopping at Kohl's...all. by. myself. And then on Monday I took a few hours after work to go get my haircut and my eyebrows waxed for my upcoming trip - all while hubby texts me "no worries, we're okay at home." Wouldn't y'all like to see my new do? :) Got 4 inches cut off, some razor-cut styling. I promise you'll see an abundance of pics with my new do from vacation pics this weekend.

2. So over the past 2 days I think I've done 8 loads of laundry...almost every piece of clothing, towel, sheets, etc. in our home are clean! I haven't been caught up like this in months! The kids each have a hamper in their room and then we have one of those 3 bag laundry sorters and we ALWAYS seem to have dirty laundry. Feels good to have it done, but my back hurts from bending over and folding. Guess I shouldn't complain - thankful to have a washer and dryer and not clean and dry clothes the old fashion way!

3. Yesterday I got almost everything packed for my and Madeline's weekend trip to CA, except for our toiletries and jewelry. Can't believe we'll be in CA in less than 48 hours!

P.S. Most of you know we fly stand-by through my Dad's American Airlines retirement...well Madeline is finally old enough to sit in First Class as a non-rev passenger. So we're listed to fly First Class, hopefully the seats don't fill up. So both of us can enjoy a relaxing flight!

AHhhh thats how you fly so many awesome places! Jealous! Your husband gets free car rentals and your Dad gets you flights for cheap or even free is guess... so WOW going on vacation for you is a sinch desicion! Thats one AWESOME blessing!

Can't wat to see the new do. I feel the same way about our laundry too, just caught up but it never seems to end.

What a GREAT list. Very inspirational for me, even with a new baby due within days? weeks? Bless you for inspiring me to keep going!!

Much love!
