I just realized I haven't been keeping up with my blog and have skipped posting the last few Monday Movie Reviews and Small Successes Thursdays. Sorry to those that come on here to read them. We've caught a few movies via Netflix like, Couples Retreat and the Proposal, that I'd like to post about. Eventually. Things have been busy. I've been working on bridal shower stuff as Madeline and I will be flying out to CA in 10 days! After Easter, the Wright family handed down their kid's jeep to James - he was super thrilled! James' friend Aaron, from across the street has a ride-in jeep and James loves to play in it. Now he has his own, and it's a 2 seater so him and Aaron can ride in it together! Thank you Wright family!
Other blog worthy news...we finally ate at the Salt Lick! We had heard about this famous Texas BBQ before...and we drove past it's quaint location last summer when we had our cousins reunion and drove out past Driftwood (where the Salt Lick is located) to head to the Hamilton Pool swimming hole. Well on Sunday we decided to check it out, it's only about 25 minutes from our home. Well when we arrived it was packed! Over an hour wait. Live music playing. Tons of people. So we put in our name for a table and to our surprise 10 minutes later we got our table!
It was very affordable BBQ...and this restaurant has a BYOB (Bring Your Own Beer) policy. Which is pretty cool - everyone shows up with their coolers. So we had a yummy lunch. Definitely a place we'll be going back to again!

I know what you mean about the Blog Neglect. Things have getten crazy busy around here and I dont even know why! :)
Yes please let us know how COuples Retreat was... Mat has been wanting to rent it and I keep saying EHHHHH nahhhh. So we'll see what you think.
Okay, if we ever make it to Austin to visit you guys we MUST go to that BBQ place. Looks awesome and Mark would love the BYOB policy!
