Monday Movie Review

Stolen Summer
rated PG
I gave this movie **** stars.
This heart-tugging family drama follows the divine mission of Pete O'Malley, an Irish-Catholic 8-year-old in Chicago who aims to get his terminally ill Jewish friend into heaven -- through religious conversion. I found this movie under the "Faith & Spirituality" section of Netflix. I really enjoyed it. Seeing Faith through an 8 year olds perspective was great. This film even moved me to tears. Definitely worth seeing.
28 Weeks Later
rated R
We gave this movie *** stars.
*Warning, if you do not like thrillers / zombie movies then this is not the movie for you! My husband likes thrillers, so this was his choice and I sat through and watched it. There were definitely some scenes I had to close my eyes on though. In this chilling sequel to 28 Days Later, the inhabitants of the British Isles appear to have lost their battle against the onslaught of disease, as the deadly rage virus has killed every citizen there. Six months later, a group of Americans dare to set foot on the isles, convinced the danger has come and gone. But it soon becomes all too clear that the scourge continues to live, waiting to pounce on its next victims.

Thanks or the suggestion! That does sound like something I'd like. I just adore the idea of looking at childhood memories from a different vantage point.
