This was such a touching and heart wrenching movie. About a young German boy whose Nazi father moves his family to Poland. The boy explores the grounds around his new home and befriends a boy on the other side of the fence who is always wearing striped pajamas. The boy is unaware of his new friend's fate as a Jewish prisoner. After watching this reminder of the Holocaust, it's really hard to stomach what the Nazi's did. Definitely a movie worth seeing!

Detective Dave Robicheaux (Tommy Lee Jones) finds himself swimming in a murky sea of corruption, deception and lies when he probes the connection between a rash of murders and a notorious New Orleans mobster (John Goodman) -- and discovers secrets that were better left untold. This was definitely not one of Tommy Lee's best films. I'm totally into CSI shows, and this film had that theme. But Stephen fell asleep watching it. So I guess it was alright.

Definitely a spin off from Julia Robert's film "My Best Friend's Wedding", but I didn't like this one as much. Happy-go-lucky playboy Tom (Patrick Dempsey) finally decides to propose to his best friend, Hannah (Michelle Monaghan), when she returns from a trip. But when she gets home, she announces that she's engaged -- and asks Tom to be in the wedding. I did however enjoy the backdrop setting of part of the film was in Ireland. And I love all things "wedding". So it was enjoyable.

Definitely a cute Disney film. Madeline enjoyed this one and so did I! When the pop star fame of her secret alter ego, Hannah Montana, becomes too much to bear, Miley Stewart (Miley Cyrus) takes a break and journeys back to her Tennessee hometown of Crowley Corners for a much-needed break from the spotlight. Miley is a talented singer and actress. We enjoyed her music on this movie, she sings "The Climb" towards the end - it's a favorite song of Stephen and mine. Even if you don't have kids, it's an enjoyable film to see.

Definitely a dark set, slow going movie. On a cross-country trip to find their estranged father, brothers Carter (Adam Rothenberg) and Ellis (Ethan Peck) -- whose life is on the line -- meet waitress Krystal (Mariah Carey). The aspiring singer decides to drive the brothers to Nashville in hopes of jump starting her career. The film touches on the subject of physical abuse. And ends bitter sweetly. It was an okay movie.
