After Stephen worked during the day on Christmas, that evening we had our dear friends, the Wright Family, over for a Chili dinner. Above is Madeline with her buds Gabriel and Mia.
Here are Madeline and James opening the thoughtful gifts from the Wright Family. We had a great evening with them. We broke out our game of "Scene It". With Stephen, Bill, Jimmena and Mann (Jimmena's bro) being movie buffs - I think we got every answer right! It was a fun time!
Yesterday we hit up Lowe's and Home Depot to see if they had an great clearance deals on Christmas stuff. Lowe's was practically sold out of everything but we were able to score on this artificial 7 footer LED pre-lit Christmas tree at Home Depot for $65! Our real tree from this year (pictured above in the 2nd pic) was turning brown and super dry. So since I had to set up our new artificial one to make sure it worked, Madeline and I decided to transfer all the ornaments so we could still have a tree up for another week or so.
