Family Room Wall

A few months ago the CEO at my work had me color correct some of his family photos so he could print and frame them for his office - he told me to feel free to print some family photos on paper or canvas and frame them for my new home. So I finally took him up on his offer. Isn't free stuff awesome!? The wall in our family room where our TV is on has been pretty bare, so I finally decided on some special photos I wanted on there. The above 2 photos on canvas are baby photos of when Madeline and James were around the age of 1. They're probably one of my most favorite photos of each of them.

Earlier this week we had a coupon for a free portrait at the Picture People, so we had our family portrait taken (yes, Penny Lane is part of the family :). I will be sending these out with my annual Christmas letter. So I enlarged the photo and print it on canvas at work and had it framed.

For the frames I bought these ledges at Kohl's (they were 50% off, plus I had $10 Kohl's cash and $15 gift card so I paid $5 for all 3 ledges). They were super easy to put up. Now the wall definitely doesn't look so bare!

Those look great! Just in time to put the finishing touches on the home before the in-laws come to visit :)
