Boo in the Park

Our neighborhood community put on a costume parade festival for all the kids today, it was fun for the kids to get dressed up and a great way to meet all of our neighbors. Madeline dressed as Snow White (she's getting great use out of this dress that Nana and Poppi bought for her at Disneyland June 2008) and wore her new sparkly red shoes. And James dressed as a Dutch Pirate (Oma and Opa bought him this costume this summer when they visited some Tall Ships in Holland). He really played the part and kept saying "Arrrggghhhh."

It was a great turn out. They had juice and pretzels for the kids, and games for them to play to earn some candy.

They even got their faces painted, James picked out a football.

Madeline saw many of her schoolmates there, about 4 of them came up to her to play. Here are Madeline and James taking a break and eating some snacks and candy.

The most handsome pirate there. :)

It was a fun afternoon!
