...after reading this article, "Texas investigators stunned by child dismemberment" I just don't understand why these sort of things happen and have to leave my lack of understanding to my faith in God. This occurred in San Antonio only 45 minutes south from where we live. I do not understand what caused this mother to do such a heinous thing, but I believe by God's grace that baby boy is safe in our Lord's arms.
Lord, whose ways are beyond understanding,
listen to the prayers of your faithful people:
that those weighed down by grief at the loss of this baby boy may find reassurance in your infinite goodness.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Started reading the article, but couldn't finish. Made me sick and disturbed. I don't understand it either. I know for sure that boy is safe and in a much, MUCH better place now.
I don't know why I decided to read this article, but I wish I hadn't! I can't imagine anyone even thinking about hurtig a precious baby or child for that matter. Aweful things like this happen all over the world all the time because we live in a fallen world. Bad things just happen, but good things happen too! I like to focus on the great blessings in life and all the wonderful things that happen and are less hear of...Where is the "news articles" for all the inspiring stories? I think we need that more than ever!
Made me sick too! I couldn't imagine harming anyone that way let alone my son. I know postpardum depression is real though, must have been very real for this mother. No one sane would have done that. That poor family, we know that the baby is in a better place and I hope that the mom can find treatment. Also, to be blunt, I hope she never has children again.
