Look who's a BIG BOY...

We've decided it's time to move James from his crib to a big boy bed! He's 2.5 now, about the same age we transitioned Madeline.

We got his twin mattress set off of craiglist. Got it for $30! It was barely used and in excellent condition!

Decided to go with a neutral bedding, nothing crazy and no character bedding like Mickey Mouse or Spongebob. James' room already has tons of sports decor and paraphernalia, didn't want to add to the craziness. Got this Main Stays Home bedding set (bed skirt, comforter, sham, and sheet set) for $39.

Accented his bedding with his crib pillows and teddy, given by Nana.

He really thinks his bed is cool!

Feeling how it is under the covers...

"Yup, I think I like my new bed Mom!" :)

And just a flashback photo. James sleeping in his bassinet, I think he was 4 days old here. He still sleeps with that same blue sports blanket. So I put James to bed about 20 minutes ago...he's sound asleep...now lets see if he stays that way all night!
