Rest in Peace Oma

Wasn't she stunningly beautiful?

Yesterday we explained to Madeline about Omi's passing. She saw the photo of her and Omi in the below post and said, "I miss Omi already, that happened too fast." And when Stephen got home from work he asked Madeline, "did mommy tell you about Omi?" and her response was, "yes daddy, Omi is in heaven now." Right she is. :)
Thank you family and friends for your out pour of thoughts and condolences. We know y'all love and miss her too.
Love, the Spence Ohana

Melissa,

We were deeply saddend to hear about the passing of Oma Nix. I can remember back in the day that we had a picnic with Oma and Opa Nix near their old home in Hollywood. She was running after us kids and making us laugh. She ran circles around us. She had so much energy and spunk. I hope and pray that I can have as much energy and spunk as Oma had, even up until her last days. We will miss her strong Dutch accent and everything else about her. She was a beautiful individual inside and out. I believe her last breath on earth became her first breath in Heaven. May you and your family find peace, joy and comfort knowing that Oma Nix is rejoicing with God in Heaven. She will be missed dearly!
