Houston Family

Pam and Ariel came from Houston on Sunday to stay with us for a couple of days. They had no power in their home due to Hurricane Ike, and Ariel's school was canceled the entire week. Luckily they were able to find and purchase a generator here in Austin. Costco had a shipment of 300 of them and within one night they only had 20 left!

We enjoyed having them here for a visit, although considering the circumstances we were sorry to hear what was going on back in Houston and the devastation Hurricane Ike left. They headed back home today, were able to fill up a bunch of gas tanks, since it's still hard to get gas in Houston. I pray things will start getting back to normal for all those families in Houston. Here's Ariel, Madeline and James having some fun on our trampoline...
