My Husband The Good Samaritan

So on Monday after Stephen was leaving Costco, in the parking lot he came across a car that had ran into a street light pole. And it happened to be a woman he sold a phone too just 20 minutes earlier. No other cars had stopped so he pulled over just to make sure she was okay. She had 5 kids with her. Her car was banged up pretty good, and the woman seemed to be in shock. He asked if everybody was okay, and she responded while crying "No we're not!". Some guy I guess ran her off the road so she swerved up onto the sidewalk and hit the pole. The guy took off. So Stephen called 911 to report the accident and waited there with her. Her kids were running around all over the place and climbing on top of the car, Stephen had to tell them all to get down and away from the car (after all there were electrical wires around now). 15 minutes had passed and still no cops. Stephen called again and they told him a car was on it's way. Another 15 minutes had passed so he called again, stressed that there were children involved in this accident, it was 90 degrees outside and they had been waiting for a 1/2 hour now! Stephen went to the nearby gas station and got the whole family bottled water. When he got back and police officer finally showed up to the scene, and Costco management finally came out to check to see if everyone was okay. Stephen a little irritated almost asked if he could be reimbursed for the water - but NO he didn't. :-) 2 hours after he left work, he finally got home. What a good guy!
