"Chris-Cross Applesauce"

Madeline started her ballet/tap dance class today! And she absolutely LOVED it! Her teacher's name is Ms. Callie and there are 4 other little girls in the class. It's for ages 2.5-4, I'm pretty sure Madeline is the oldest if not the tallest.

This is going to be such a great class to teach her to listen to instruction. This being the first day the parents were allowed to sit in, but from now on in future classes we have to wait in the lobby and watch through a window. For the most part Madeline listened to Ms. Callie. She got excited a few times and came up to me when she was supposed to stay in place - but I know she will get better once I'm not in the room.

When Ms. Callie is individually teaching she has the girls sit on one end of the room. They must sit "indian style" and Ms. Callie will say, "Madeline, sit Chris-Cross Applesauce!". It's cute. Most of the time Madeline would sit with both legs to the side (Stephen thinks that's more proper and lady like) but Ms. Callie said she was still doing a great job!
