San Antonio Fun!

Mom and Dad are in town for Thanksgiving week. When they arrived yesterday evening we came home and watched the Viking game and ate some sloppy joes. Today we took them down to San Antonio and visited the zoo and had dinner on the Riverwalk.

It was a beautiful day at the zoo - the weather was perfect!

Dad, Mom and Madeline checking out the flamingos.

Mr. or Mrs. Grizzly Bear.

James seeing if he's as big as the monkey!

Mom giving the kids some food to feed the fish.

James savoring his last bit of fish food..

The 2 very large hippopotamus floating in the water.

James being a boy.

Mom and the kids posing with their new pet snakes. :)

James and his Poppi - what a great afternoon at the zoo!

After the zoo we went to the Riverwalk and had a wonderful dinner at the Salt Grass Steakhouse. We had a nice table at the window with a view of the river and a fabulous waiter. The food was so yummy. Isn't mom's plate of crab and avocado so pretty?

Dad and Stephen cutting into their 16oz. rib eye.

After dinner we took a short walk on the Riverwalk before heading home. Yes the snakes joined us for dinner and an evening walk.

And just had to include in this post this adorable pic of our snoozing hound dog. :)
