James turned 6!

 On Sunday our baby boy turned 6! I can't believe he's a kindergartner now, not long ago I was holding this sweet baby boy in my arms!

 We had a small and simple birthday party for him on Sunday with our close friends and neighbors, and Oma & Opa flew into town for the celebration too! :)

 James special request, Spiderman cupcakes from Sam's Club.

He received many cool birthday gifts...and we got him the Viking hat "with hair" and foam finger that he requested. :) Stephen had on the Viking game during the party - Vikes won!

We had a pair of cowboy boots pinata filled with the "good" Halloween candy. :)

 My mom got these great shots of the kids eating their cupcakes and ice cream on the trampoline.

 James had a great birthday, thanks to all who made him feel so loved! His big present from us was a kid's VTech digital camera. I'll share his pics in the next post. Oh and yes, this pic shows a peek at our newly re-done dining room turned to den. I painted the walls navy blue last week. :)

P.S. If you're on my FB then you heard I got a new job with KB Home! I'm their new Design Studio coordinator. It's part time which is what I was looking for, and I started this week! I love it so far and I work with a great group of people. My parents took this pic yesterday when they drove by to see where I now work (aren't they cute?!), they were in the area antique shopping. :)
