We took a break from cleaning the house today and headed out to Wimberley (a hill country town about 25 minutes West of us) to check out the Blue Hole. It's a spring fed swimming hole and we've heard lots of Central Texans rave about it being one of their favorite childhood summer memory spots. And it is a beautiful spot! Can't believe we haven't been here yet! We wanted to see if it would be a good spot to bring the family next week for the reunion. They had two tree rope swings and the kids just had a ball swinging on them and falling into the refreshing, cool water below!
The cypress trees that line this swimming hole are just so pretty!
