Over Labor Day weekend we worked on our upstairs loft area. This is mainly a playroom and TV area for the kids. Stephen's always wanted a sports themed game room. This loft area is definitely not big enough for a game room with a pool table, maybe a fooz ball table, but I still agreed to let Stephen decorate this space. So he picked out the paint color at Home Depot, it's called Ashwood and it's sort of a grayish taupe color.
The kids, including Penny, really like how the space turned out!
Stephen and James have been collecting sports plaques and pennants (with the help of Nana and Poppi) through the years so Stephen found a special spot for each.
This wall is designated the "Red Sox wall". :)
And this designated the "Viking wall". :)
When we got approved on the home loan of this house, Stephen and the kids went out and bought a new housewarming gift for our new home. This beautiful bird feeder (the one they got me awhile back for mother's day fell and broke). So we picked up some seeds...still waiting on the birds. Oh and we bought better hardware to hang the feeder this time.
