Sometimes Stephen meets me at work with the kids if he has an earlier shift to work. So on our way home occasionally I'll stop with the kids at McDonald's or Chick-fil-a to get some lunch and play at their indoor playscapes. Well this week we needed to get home, still have a lot of packing to do and some Realtors were coming by to show the rental house to their clients. So we made a quick stop at Sonic to get some ice cream. I love how for their cones, they put an upside down drink lid to catch any dripping ice cream.
And they have these really yummy, perfect size jr. sundaes with candy toppings for only a $1. Madeline loves them, can't you tell!?
Ice cream on a hot day = happy kids. :)
So we will be official home owners in 4 days!!!! This past Tuesday we had our buyer's orientation and walk thru. It took about 2 hours to go through the interior and exterior of the house. Lots of touch ups need to be made by the painter and then just a few minor things to be fixed or replaced. We'll have our final walk thru on Monday and then we go to the title company on Tuesday to sign the final paperwork and close! My parents are flying out on Tuesday evening to help us get moved in. So thankful they are coming. We would like to paint some interior rooms, install some ceiling fans and install a garage door opener. They're handy with all that kind of stuff. Move in date is set for next Friday!

First, that ice cream james is holding is HUGE! Whoa!! And second,.... YAY FOR A MOVE IN DATE~ Melissa that is seriously so exciting! Sounds like you've got all your finishing touches ready to go. Of course we'll be needing pictures of the new place in a week right? ALSO we'll have to come see it in person soon. :)
We are going to miss y'all. Cami and Cari are back home as of last night and as we past by your house Cami said, "I can't believe Madilynn is really moving. She was a good friend." I had to agree with her!
