This morning Penny Lane had her Hernia Repair Surgery. It went good and she's all stitched up. No more bulge by her spay line incision. The estimate cost of this surgery from this new vet was $90, but when I picked Penny up this afternoon they charged me $77 total! (That doesn't even compare to what Banfield quoted us...$908). And the total cost included a week worth of antibiotics and pain killers. Oh and they also trimmed her nails, the girl got a pedicure!
She's resting now. She's not too fond of the kennel we borrowed for her, so when she remains calm in the house I'm letting her lay where ever. But when she gets too excited and playful, into the kennel she goes. I can't believe how long her snout is looking at this last photo, she definitely took after her Basset Hound mommy.
