This weekend Rachel and Jan Melle's son, Yoram, celebrates his 3rd birthday. Hartelijk gefeliciteerd Yoram! We heard you love Thomas the Train, we hope you get all the trains you wanted! :) Keep an eye out on the mail, we sent you a little something from the States.
Madeline's really been enjoying all of the arts & crafts, pens, stickers and drawing tools she received for her birthday. She spends many hours "writing letters" and drawing pictures. Here she is drawing one for her best friend, Mia's birthday.
Today we went and checked out the Austin Boxer Rescue Adoption Day. We're considering getting a family pet. Stephen prefers a dog, and we have both liked the Boxer breed since having and knowing our late, beloved Behr. Our neighbors recently got a Boxer pup which brought back the memories. We think a family dog would bring great joy to our family as well as motivate us to start walking and exercising more. Anyhow, friends of ours have adopted a rescue dog, so I looked into if there was any Boxer rescue organizations and found one in Austin.

It was fun meeting all the dogs today, they're so sweet and playful. There's definitely pros and cons in getting a puppy vs. an older dog. I do like the pro of the older dog and not having to puppy train. So after today we're considering going through the adoption process of one of these Boxer rescues. We'll keep y'all posted!

I've been praying for your OMA that she will be in God's hands. He loves her too. Love the dog and good knews on Steve's job. Hope you are doing well.
