We've adopted a baby girl and Stephen named her Penny Lane! She's a 1/2 Boxer 1/2 Basset Hound 7 week old puppy. She was born December 5, 2008. We drove 1.5 hours to Halletsville, Texas to meet her. We fell in love and told the owner we'd gladly re home her. She has a very sweet temperament. And the kids love her, especially Madeline! Wish us luck on puppy training!

Tomorrow on the 23rd two very special people celebrate their birthdays. Our nephew, Wyatt, turns 13...Happy 13th Birthday buddy! Wow while living in Oregon we always remembered you referring to yourself as a "tween", almost a teen but not quite. Well you've finally reached the teen years! We bet you're super stoked! We hope you have an awesome birthday weekend with your family and friends. We miss and love you very much and hope to see you soon!
