So our problem is almost resolved with weaning James from his Binky's....he's down to ONE left due to Penny chewing up the rest of them! James even threw the chewed up ones in the trash. So we'll see how long this last one survives! Madeline pretty much no longer sucks her thumb anymore (99%) of the time. The other week when I was trimming her fingernails, I put on that thumbnail polish that tastes super bad (last time I tried it she still kept sucking) and it worked this time!
So I've been to the Children's Orchard consignment store twice in the past week. Due to the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act they have to sell everything. The first time I went everything was 40% off (basically I spent no more than $2 an item) and the second time I went every item was $1!!!! I showed up on the first day of the $1 sale and half the store was empty already!
I did get all these for James at $1 each, swim trunks and water shoes, basketball jacket, Lakers jersey, and an Angels Nike jersey.
For Madeline I picked up some summer tank tops, short and skirt, velour sweater and 3 dresses (one of them was from Children's Place). Such great buys! But I'm sad to see the consignment store go. :(
Today I gave James a buzz cut, I missed a few spots around his ears, guess I will try and get those later. Here he is in the bath and after the bath with his new do!
Penny update...she's doing well, slept through the night with no accidents! Can you tell she's making herself at home and pretty comfortable...

Wow James looks even older with a new haircut! Nice deals at the store... Oh and Woot Woot for the decreased thumb sucking and binky sucking :0
