Yesterday I kept having this feeling like I forgot about Kiara's birthday, it was driving me nuts. (For some reason I did not have her birth date marked on our Dutch calendar) So I emailed Eric and Maureen...low and behold YESTERDAY was Kiara's birthday! What a bad Tante I am. Princess Kiara, Happy Belated 5th Birthday (or as they say in Hawaiian: Hau`oli Lā Hānau!)!!! We heard you had a rather interesting party last night with no electricity! Wish we could've been with you to celebrate. Keep an eye out on the mail and expect a belated gift from us. We love you!
I wish we lived closer so Madeline and Kiara could see each other more. Whenever we're together for a visit, the girls love to play together. :)
