Differences between boys & girls

We have a naughty, naughty 2 year old and his name is James. You may think he looks cute in this photo but let me tell you a little story of what happened prior to this bath...

While Madeline was at dance class this evening James and I went to the park, the one with the fishing lake. While playing near the structure James noticed a white crane fly and land on the grass near the water. So he booked it for the crane. I was on the other side of the play structure so he had a head start on me. I'm running after him yelling "NO JAMES! STOP!". He keeps running looking back at me smirking. He got to the water's edge and I was about 10 feet behind him and he stopped, looked at me and smiled. Then he and I realized he was standing in MUD and sinking. As he tried to take a step out of it he fell on his bottom. That's right, wet, dirty mud all over him. Aaarrrggghhh. I thought oh no, I no longer bring a diaper bag with change of clothes for him, just my purse with a diaper and wipes. But as I walked him back to the car I realized I took the wipes out of my purse and left them at home. Sigh. So I sat James on my trunk and stripped him from his muddy clothes. He was filthy. So when we got home he went straight into the bath. Madeline got out of the bath first so I was helping her with her pj's when our naughty, naughty 2 year old gets out of the bath tub, runs naked into the hallway, grabs the basketball, runs back into the bathroom, shoots the ball in the tub of water and climbs back in. Is this what having a BOY is all about!?

On a much sweeter note our cousins, Kelly and Nate posted a video on their blog of their son, Tanner saying his bedtime prayers. It gave me the idea to video Madeline saying the Lord's prayer, I love how she pronounces some words. :)
