My unspectacular quirks

Here are my unspectacular quirks.
1. I have 29.6GB of photos saved onto my computer, that's over 16,000 photos taken since 2003 (the year we got our first digital camera) saved and organized in 192 folders. I organize them by month/year, and then within those folders I have a low-res photo folder labeled "Blog Photos".

2. Every night I bring a cup of water to bed, on some nights Madeline will come in our room thirsty and drink from it - if she doesn't and it's still full by morning I make sure to dump it out in our bathroom sink otherwise Mr. James always seems to find it and dump it out himself.

3. We have what's called a "Dutch Birthday Calendar" and it contains the names and dates of family member & friends birthdays - it's hung where most Dutch people hang it so you can be reminded each day - next to our toilet. Each year I go through it and write down the special days on my regular calendars in my den and kitchen.

4. Every time I leave the house I have to have my cell phone, sun glasses (I hate to drive without them), a diaper and wipes, and a drink bag with the kid's sippy cups and snacks.

5. When I wash the dishes, I do the cups first, the silverware second and the dishes last.

6. When I vacuum our carpets I always do it in a pattern so it leaves vertical or horizontal grid marks...funny thing is Stephen is the same way about mowing his lawn, and since our backyard is humongous he likes to look at pattern ideas from different baseball fields. LOL
