My husband is so sweet. Last night he called from work to tell me he was bringing home an extra nice car for me to drive to my first day on the job. I was nervous and didn't know how my morning commute would be, luckily I barely hit any traffic! It was weird, having the alone time in the car. I thought, "this is the first time in a long time I've had the chance to listen to the car radio uninterrupted!". I guess finally I will be able to get hip again on today's latest music. LOL
I arrived to work 15 minutes early. Filled out all the usual new employee info. Was assigned my desk. The office is very nice, they even have XM radio playing throughout. And I got to work right away on the Photoshop project they called me in for to start early (I wasn't supposed to start until next week). I caught on pretty quickly, worked on it for several hours and before I knew it it was time to head home!
Stephen said he and the kids did fine. Poor James woke up this morning just before I left for work, he wasn't too happy when Daddy came in his room to get him, crying and wanting me. So Stephen playfully threw him on the couch and said, "James, there's a new sheriff in town." Stephen said after I left James did wander around the house looking for me, but for the most part he was fine. Other than the fact the kids excitingly greeted me when I came home, still wearing their pajamas, I think this new schedule between both of our jobs and caring for the kiddos is gonna work out great!

Soo excited for you and what a wonderful hubby!
Congratulations on your new job! How exciting!
Glad to hear you are like your new job. This should give the kids some independence to build on their own. Good job Steve for helping out.
