My Mom just called, worried if the hurricane was going to affect us up here in Austin. Listening to the weather channel (click here for news forecast video) it's doesn't look like it will and rather move West. We may get some light showers this evening, and it's definitely cooled the weather down. On the above map we're right above San Antonio. I need to check in with family and friends in Houston, hope they won't get hit hard. Praying this level 2 hurricane doesn't cause much damage and that no one gets hurt. I will keep y'all posted if anything drastic changes.
