Stephen turned 30 on September 24th this year. To make his birthday special mom and I planned a special surprise for him. Mom and Dad flew in on the 23rd to surprise Stephen and be here to help celebrate his 30th birthday. I told Stephen the kids and I had one more gift to pick up for him and that we were so excited to give it to him we were going to come by his work and the airport on the 23rd to show him...well Mom and Dad arrived there at the airport the same time. While Mom was dealing with the airline about their lost luggage Dad disguised himself with a rasta wig and mustache. While Stephen walked up to the kids and I he spotted Dad and thought "look at that guy!" but then quickly realized after recognizing Dad's shirt and stature it was him. SURPRISE!!!! He was very happy to see his parents.
His next surprise was we were taking him to San Antonio on his birthday and staying the night at the Crowne Plaza on the Riverwalk! We were able to show Mom and Dad the Alamo.
We checked out the Wax Museum. Had dinner at Joe's Crab Shack on the Riverwalk. And rode on a river taxi! It was a fun day.
The next morning we had some breakfast at the Cracker Barrel and then headed back to Austin.

Looked like so much fun. Wish I could have been there. Brings back so many memories of me and Davy Crockett.
